Strawberry picking at Nikken Farm
When you think of spring in Irago, you think of strawberry picking!
Bright red, juicy strawberries grow in clusters, including Akihime, a large, sweet variety with little acidity, and Kaorino, which has an elegant fragrance that can be enjoyed by everyone from babies to the elderly.
Enjoy our large, sweet strawberries in our expansive greenhouses totaling 1,750 tsubo across five locations.

Illuminated Chrysanthemum Night Tour

It's as if fireflies are dancing in the air!! The glow of Tahara City's illuminated chrysanthemum greenhouse, the best in Japan
This is a post-dinner tour to see the illuminated chrysanthemums greenhouse, which can usually only be seen from the outside. A flower expert will carefully explain each part of the greenhouse and guide you.
The "Shiragiku Rainbow Coloring Experience" is a special offer for hotel reservations. You can learn how plants absorb water while enjoying the changes in color, such as how the color intensity changes depending on the time the plant is soaked in colored water. This is a great idea for a summer vacation project!
You can take the flowers home with you. Souvenirs, drinks, and transportation from your hotel are included.

An active Yakushima nature guide will guide you through "Tahara's Yakushima" ♪Experience nature using all your senses!
The Atsumi Peninsula is surrounded by the sea and is rich in nature, and its forests are also very attractive.
Let's take a leisurely walk through the forest, soothed by nature, in "The Forest of Atsumi Peninsula, where you can feel the Yakushima Island," or "Tahara's Yakushima" for short, discovered by a Yakushima nature guide originally from the Atsumi Peninsula.
After the experience, relax and warm up your body in the hot spring at Irago Ocean Resort.

Enjoy the sea with your family!
Search for sea creatures on the sandy beach at low tide! Observe the creatures hiding in various places such as sand, reefs, eelgrass beds, and under tetrapods with underwater goggles and collect them with a net. Share the excitement of meeting creatures, the joy of discovering them, the surprise of gently touching them, and the fun of carefully observing with your child!

Summer in Irago means "melon picking"!
At Nikken Farm, located in the warm climate of Irago, musk melons are carefully grown to concentrate their natural sweetness and flavor.
The experience includes picking one whole melon and enjoying a freshly cut half melon on-site.

A surfing school experience held in Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture, where the world surfing championships were held. Experienced instructors with over 10 years of teaching experience will provide lessons tailored to your skill level—whether you're a beginner, looking to improve, or already advanced. First timers, women, and solo participants are all welcome!
