Enjoy the contrast between Kawazu cherry blossoms and rape blossoms 🌸 Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture, where Irago Ocean Resort is located, has many attractions, such as the Mennada River, where you can enjoy Kawazu cherry blossoms and rape blossoms together.

There are plenty of attractive spots to enjoy the seasons, including the Nanohana Garden, which boasts an area roughly the size of four Tokyo Domes.

Tahara City takes advantage of its warm climate and some of the longest hours of sunshine in the country to cultivate strawberries 🍓 Characterized by their rich sweetness and large size, strawberries are a fruit that symbolizes Irago in spring.

The Nanohana Festival, where the entire area turns yellow and is a must-see for photos, is also a springtime tradition in Irago.

The vast rapeseed flower fields are like a bright yellow carpet, signaling the arrival of the new season. 🏵️ In addition to strolling around, you can also try gourmet food and sweets made with rapeseed flowers. 😋

It's about a 5-minute drive from Irago Ocean Resort, so why not stop by on your way home?

 

Walking spots around the hotel

Koijigahama Beach, which has been selected as one of Japan's 100 most beautiful beaches, is a beautiful white sandy beach where you can enjoy a resort atmosphere.

There is also a well-maintained promenade where you can take a walk and enjoy the sound of the waves. There is a free parking lot at Koijigahama Beach, a 5-minute drive from the hotel.
