Do you know the job of "sea traffic controller"?
You may not be familiar with it, but like an airport controller, they use radar and cameras to monitor the movements of ships.
In other words, they are specialists in maritime traffic control!
Of the seven marine traffic centers in the country, the Ise Bay Marine Traffic Center is located in Irago.
A very special event will be held on select dates where you can tour the control tower and experience what it's like to be an air traffic controller.

This event is popular every year, and the work experience program is especially popular, so we are accepting applications from the public!
The application deadline is fast approaching, with some programs closing as early as July 15th (Wednesday)!
